Murph Prep Week 1
We’ll spend the next 4 weeks getting ready for Murph. We’ve already upped our running, pull-ups, and push ups a bit (along with, of course, or squat cycle), so we’re going in with a good base.
Expect to see some longer runs, a little biasing towards the Murph movements (pull-up, push ups, & squats), and a hero WOD or two between now and then to get us in the right head space.
Remember, workouts like Murph are designed for us to honor the fallen. We’ll set you up to succeed in whatever version of Murph you wind up choosing. As long as you’re working hard to honor their sacrifice, you’re hitting the intended stimulus 🙂
Additionally, we have a couple of special events/scheduling changes this week– Sam Dancer is doing a Gymnastics seminar for members on Saturday (5/14) at 11am ($40), and our Olympic Lifting Cycle II starts at 5:00pm on Friday, May 13! The Oly class will replace the 5:15pm WOD on Fridays. See you at the gym!
