LO-CARB PANCAKES
– This recipe is simple and works great for tricking the kids (and wife) into eating healthy.
In a bowl combine:
1 egg,
1 Tablespoon of almond flour or ground flax seed,
1 T (vanilla) protein powder,
1 T cream or milk.
Heat a 10" pan with 1/2 T of coconut oil (for 3 extra blocks of fat) or cooking spray (0 blocks).
Pour mixture in and swirl so that it coats entire bottom of pan. Flip once.
Remove and roll up like a crepe (or a taquito for us SOCALs).
Top with 1/2 cup of heated berries (nuke frozen berries for 1 min) and a bit of whip cream.
Zone info:
1 block carb with berries,
2 blocks Protein,
2 blocks Fat with milk / 3 blocks with cream / 6 blocks with cream & coconut oil.
