Happy New Year, and welcome to Open Prep Week 1! We’re officially starting off our Open Prep this week. We’ll likely have about one Open-style workout per week, as well as a Goat Day every other week (every week as we get closer) where we work on our weaknesses specifically. We’ll also spend a little extra time prior to class several days a week to tighten up our skills.
This week, we deload on our squats, and will close out the squat cycle next week when we max out both our front squat and back squat. Let’s start the year off strong!
Note that the 5:15pm and 6:15pm classes are cancelled on Monday in observation of New Years Day (observed).
